Miss Korea 2009 will be crowned on July 8 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.

It's the pageant's 53rd edition this year.

56 contestants are vying for the crown.

The winner will represent Korea in Miss Universe 2010.

1st RU goes to Miss World 2009 in Joburg, South Africa on December 12.

2nd RU goes to Miss International 2009 in Macau, China in November.

And the Miss Earth 2009 delegate will be among the 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th runner-up.

The Miss Intercontinental 2009 delegate will most probably be among the semi-finalists.
