The Ruth Ocumárez Award 2015!!!

I think for this year the award should go to the lovely Huong Pham - Miss Vietnam, she was a huge favorite for the crown in most international tops, but sadly she did not enter the top 15.
Pity!!! Such a beautiful girl, so for me the award goes to her.

They kept mentioning "It Girls". Other girls I thought had "It" and didn't place along with Vietnam:
India (even though she was very exaggerated on stage, she stood out to me)
Haiti (fresh, natural)
Georgia (super model type)
Argentina (pretty)
Chile (another pretty model type)
Bulgaria (despite her bad hair do at prelims, I thought she has a beautiful face)
Russia (model type)
Kosovo (like a 40s or 50 movie star)
India (even though she was very exaggerated on stage, she stood out to me)

I can't understand what MU looks for.... beauty, strong preformances..I don't know!

The girls comes on my mind after the announcement of Top 15
Haiti - she's one of the best black and I love her performance during the prelimimary.
India and Vietnam - 4 Asian in the Top 15 but no India nor Vietnam.
For latinas - Chile and Paraguay
For Europe - Italy , Ireland , Poland, Great Britain performance is good too..

I have been so sad about her not placing. When the MC announced 7 per 15, I had a feeling that Huong Pham would be wasted. And that was true. Many make-ups for MU said that India and Vietnam were in top 15, but MUO replaced them with Indonesia and SA.
This MU season will be unforgettable because of many reasons. And now I can know the beauty competition is the competition os money, business and polictics. The Q&A for top 5 are the clear examples.

She was top 5 material! Sadly every year amazing girls are wasted just because their weak sash... at the end of the day it's MU's loss!

What an awesome beauty, wasted by the politics of Miss Universe. Miss Vietnam should not stop here and should represent her country in Miss World or Miss Supranational in 2016. She is definitely a rare and exotic beauty.

I honestly do not understand why people are going ga ga over Miss Australia. Her face is not that of a beauty queen and there are so many girls with better face and body than her that deserved to be in top 5. South Africa and Mexico were better than Georgia and Vietnam? Oh please, gimme a break!

I know this feeling too... According to some sources Paulina was also in TOP15 in 2013, but was replaced after her ND has rejected the SH's dresses offered by MUO... As for your girl I was sure that she's gonna make it. she was even in my TOP5 in predictions...
It so sad that MU is so much about politics and business a not about girl's potential...
