Raquel will represent her country in Miss Universe 2016, she was also the 2nd runner up in Miss World Haiti 2016.

In my opinion, she is the prettiest black girl of this edition, she looks so different a beautiful.

The 1st ru of MU 2016 Raquel Pelissier, posing with a happy National Director of Miss Haití, Mr. Chris Puesan (he took the franchise in 2015, left by Magali Febles) he is also dominican like Magali and the relationship between these 2 national directors is not good at all.
Chris in just 1 year achieved with the franchise a 1st ru in MU, and when Magali had it between 2010-2015, Haití did not place in MU.
Chris is very proud of Raquel and thanks everyone.
(Raquel was also 3rd ru in Reina Hispanoamericana 2016)

Raquel is already in USA especially in Miami, Florida. She went already to UNIVISIÓN to EL GORDO Y LA FLACA SHOW & DESPIERTA AMÉRICA.
Eventhough that her main language is French, she speaks Spanish fluently because she is studying optometry in Spain and have been living there for a while, also she is fluent in English.

The "Virreina Universal 2016" or 1st runner-up has arrived today in her country.
Red carpet, Prime Ministers, the press and many others received their "Miss Universe" (that's how they call her)
I am so happy for Haiti, after all they have been thru especially with the 2010 earthquake and last year's Hurricane Matthew, Raquel's victory just came in time to cease a bit their reality.
Raquel is an optometrist and speaks of course her native language French, she is also fluent in Spanish, English & German.
(Haití is still the poorest country in América)
They are thrilled!!!
