It was the team behind Catriona who imitated Megan. Megan and Catriona are both under Aces and Queens during their Miss World Stint. Catriona decided to leave her camp and an independent team helped her in Bb Pilipinas. Her styling, wardrobe and the way she speak is no longer a copy cat. And for sure her new team is aware of what happened in Miss World so yes definitely there will be no Pia Copycat in Miss Universe...

But her beauty reminds me of Lalaine Bennett (MU Philippines 1963) from our town.

We had a lot of girls that participated at both MU and MW

It's risky for a Miss World Philippines titleholder to join Bb Pilipinas since we are not sure yet if Madam Stella will like them as Miss World franchise was removed from her pageant. And we are not confident that Catriona will gonna win as there's a lot of sabotaging happening and black propaganda against her. There is always a politics as well in Bb Pilipinas based from the history but it seems like this is the only year where connection is no longer a plus factor and the winners and top 15 is all worthy girls.

The first Filipina who has two titles are actually Carlene Aguilar (Miss Philippines Earth 2001 and Bb Pilipinas World 2005). But a Miss Universe/World Philippines is a different story. We used to see a runners up from Miss World Philippines competing in Bb Pilipinas but never the main winner. Because of Catriona's crossover some previous titleholders from Bb Pilipinas will be joining Miss World Philippines 2018
