I was not! But she won me over last night! Marine was my fav and the redhead a few years back!!
The whole day I am wondering what if Paulina, Ilianna, Doukissa, Desire were at the IMG MU editions!!!!!

Unlike all the others you mentioned - even though they were all worlds ahead of Iris beauty wise - she showed stage presence. She rocked that stage like she was at home there. A quality that European girls often lack. So sad... and the M.A.C. stylists were favoring her as well and it helped 😉

I just watched the replayed video now. I must say the judging are fair and nobody is protesting at the Arena when I was there. Everyone is happy and celebrating.

And we the Filipino people enjoyed the show and we easily accepted our placement (referring to Maxine)

There is no any booos from the audience either.

The Top 13 is so diverse and I looking forward for the next edition of Miss Universe. I hope the rumor is true that it will be held again here in the Philippines on November.

Congrats to Iris and to all the people of France including my ex bf lol

I hope JeanP will be back here

Btw I thinking before if Iris will not win the current Miss France is screaming Miss Universe too

I think Desire and Patricia did everything right, they just were unlucky to be at MU at the wrong time!
This year make up and hair were generally good for all the girls! Some girls (like Germany) had an updo that did not work for her, Barbados wore a very dark lipstick that didn't work for her either but I guess that this is a matter of their choice, right?

Not sure. We had this discussion a few years ago and I think the girls don't have 100% influence on their styling... not sure if they "rehearse" it. Johanna usually looks good with an up do but her styling in prelims (only EG) wasn't flattering. Just like Ukraine's in SS.

I can't agree more about Spanish Queens! Both Patricia and Desire were spectacular during MU final and both were robbed to me. I understand that Patricia couldn't win since she participated at MW before but what's wrong was with Desiree? Why she did not make it even to the top 5? Can't see any reason.
