The Sanremo festival is on this week and two of the big favorites so far are Ermal Meta & Fabrizio Moro and The Kolors.

Meta and Moro won as expected! Great song with an important message! But is it catchy enough for ESC??? Their partecipation has been confirmed at the press conference that was held at the end of the festival.

There is a huge controversy with this song as the chorus is cited from a song "Silenzio" performed at San Remo 2016. It's possible that EBU will not allow this song to compete.

It will be a huge mistake if EBU won't allow Meta and Moro compeet! They say something that actually matters! On the other hand EBU gave the award to a nazi anthem ...I expect the worst from them.... I just hope for the best.

Well, the song has never been published. The original song was submitted for the San Remo newcomer contest 2 years ago and has been rejected back then. It has been modified but the chorus is pretty much the same. The author is the same person.

When they will realize that national finals are not a good idea in our country? If these are the best song among all from the record number of applicants then I'm speechless

I'm also team Gromee however not amazed by the Gromee's song, I like his song "Without you" more. Isabel Otrebus is not the best live IMO.
