3. Daughter of an actor and a commercial model.
4. A forensic practitioner from the United States.
5. Actress and niece of a Miss International.
6. Two half Germans.
7. Professional singer signed with a recording contract.
8. A national titleholder.
9. Provincial level titleholders.
10. Cousin of a Miss Universe Philippines who placed well in the international pageant.
11. Sister of a Miss World Philippines (decade: 90s).
12. An orphan who turned into competitions to gain experience and friends.

In an Exclusive by blogger normannorman.com, Miss Globe 2015 Ann Colis finally broke her silence on the rumors of her participation in Miss World Philippines 2017.

“It is definitely a no-go because of all my current plans to further pursue my modeling career in the US. Actually, I will be moving to New York City in a month or so to explore more career options out there.

According to my realiable source there are 63 applicants in this year's search. The panel will going to select 30 official who will compete for the 3 titles at stake and the 2 runners-up position.

I don't have so much time to attend the events of MWP but I saw them all during the screening up close.

I think Laura Lehman is the clear winner - however Wynwyn Marquez is also doing good so far.

Cynthia Thomalia is a Super Beauty no doubt! However I am not sure about her chances - I'd rather see her in Bb Pilipinas
