She is a surprising winner, considering she has very very weak sash and that she beat some heave favorites, but I think she deserves it. She did very well throughout the competition.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT MONALYSA WILL BE NOT ALLOW TO PARTICIPATE AT MISS UNIVERSE THIS YEAR
"Based on my interpretation, the birthdate of a possible Miss Universe candidate is between January 1, 1989 to December 31, 1998.
That means that Monalysa Alcântara might not be qualified at 66th Miss Universe since she was born on January 26, 1999 (26 days short of the minimum age requirement). Will Monalysa be disqualified at 66th Miss Universe just like Urvashi in 2012 or will WME/IMG will allow her to compete and discard the age limit rules that might be unfair for other girls?"

I remember a few years back the Brazilian MW org crowned a married girl and when her marriage was revealed it was like they did not care (or they allready knew)! She was honoroud just like nothing was wrong, she just missed MW (cause Julia wouldn't put up with it)!
But this now is worse...how they even let her compete if she does not meet requirements!
