Did you know that among all the contestants, Miss Universe Mauritius 2017 Angie Callychurn, shown here after arriving in London this morning, is travelling from the farthest point to Las Vegas? She will be crossing two continents and two oceans, covering a whooping 18,106 km!

95+ contestants confirmed? I hope this is true. If I am correct this would be the most numbers of participants in the history of Miss Universe!

So far it seems to be confirmed but Im afraid there might be some no shows. I hope we get the most contestants and I would love for a top20 again.

I would love a top 20 and much rather see that than all those boring videos they show now. There is no excitement in the semifinalist announcement anymore. Call a country...show a video...call a country...show a video...to me, it is very boring. I would much rather the girls be announced one after the other.

If that info is from wikipedia don't believe it. Since in wikipedia Serbia and Montenegro are still in , although they will not compete for sure@

Thanks for the info. I have doubt with Iraq participation as well. But I am happy that more Asian is competing with the debut of Cambodia, Laos, and Nepal

I guess that in the end there will be less than 90 contestants as always
