According to Latin correspondents covering Miss Universe 2017 in Las Vegas, Miss Universe 2018 will be held in PERU in September, 2018
So far there has been no official confirmation by the MUO

It is great if MU back in Latin America after long time, that also increase Peru chances to win this year 
However I hope that they will annonce time and place of MU soon, and not just 1 or 2 monthes before pageant actually will be held. I prefer summer, august for example, but sept.will be ok as well.

It can't be August, the reign of the new MU would be too short 
That would explain why they wanted so badly to make this edition in November, even with such a poor stage for preliminaries.

Nothing can't justify that poor stage in my opinion.

Miss Universe ORG, Demi, Iris and Some candidates of MU 2017 is here in Manila. MU 2018 might be held in the Philippines after approval by our government

Miss Universe 2018 will likely be held in Pretoria, South Africa at the Sun Parks Times Square.
Discussions began apparently last year in October.
Miss SA which usually airs in March and at the Sun City Superbowl was pushed back to May so the MUO can attend and see the venue. The first Live event to be broadcast from Times Square will be the Miss SA 2018 Pageant.
But will South Africans happily oblige to attend a pageant at 2am? Lets see what happens.

I guess that there would be the same situation like in Moscow 2013, the pageant would take place in the evening and then there would be a rebroadcast in the USA.

MU Org tried to bring Miss Universe in France as well however it's not successful. But South Africa has a big chance that it might happen since South Africa used to host for Miss World.
The last time Miss Universe was held in Africa was in 1995 (Namibia)

I think China is almost confirmed. They can pay the fee of holding the pageant anyway.

It is no secret that the Miss Universe Organization has been eyeing the Philippines to host the Miss Universe pageant anew. Our unimpeachable source tells us that our fourth hosting of the pageant is just a signature away from Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.
According to a different source, the President is now likely to agree to Miss Universe being held here in the Philippines provided that the organization will help in promoting Boracay after the planned six-month closure. Some promotional activities in the coming months have already been lined-up with various sponsors even before the pre-pageant activities will kick-off.
