2018 Winter Olympics

Is anyone here watching the Olympics? My favorite sport is the Biathlon and I watched that this weekend. Also enjoyed the luge and some of the skating. Was really happy for Chris Mazdzer (he could be a male pageant contender) winning a silver medal for USA in luge. Also for Arnd Peiffer winning gold in Biathlon.

I am! Still waiting for Poland's first medal... 
Our ski jumpers Kamil Stoch and Stefan Hula were so close placing 4th and 5th respectively... After first round Hula was 1st and and Stoch 2nd...

I watched some of the ice dancing last night. I saw the teams from North Korea, China, Canada, USA, and Germany. I recorded a mens' biathlon and saw the guy from France win. I think Sweden took silver and Germany bronze. The coverage here is terrible. The main NBC channel seems to skimp on actual competition and instead focuses on "inspiring stories" and they really hype up snow boarding. The NBC Sports Channel has more actual coverage. They also don't show the medal ceremonies. I always liked seeing those--the gold medal athlete hearing their national anthem.

Bonner, I saw him skate last night. He was pretty good! I went to bed so I missed the rest of it, but immediately thought of you when he entered the rink.

Being Norwegian, of course I watch the Olympics. The whole country does - even if most things happen in the middle of the night..... we are crazy.
I just came back from a holiday in Kenya, and even there we got up early to listen to the Norwegian radio channel....
For now, we have 9 gold medals, 9 silver and 8 bronze - and it is still not over.
