A representative of Laak was crowned the first Bulawan Earth 2018 (one of the titles at Bulawan Queen 2018 pageant) by the reigning #MissEarth 2017 KAREN IBASCO in Compostela Valley Province recently. She is expected to represent Compostela Valley Province at Miss Philippines Earth 2018 national pageant.

Noelle Fuentes Uy-Tuazon

(little trivia I’m also a villafuerte on her mom’s side)

She will be representing the municipality of Tangalan, Aklan
(Her lolo was the first elected mayor of that Municipality)

Noelle's advocacy is "Marine preservation and sustainability on ecotourism"

by profession she is a Biological anthropologist with a background and focus in Bioarchaeology, Forensic Anthropology, Archaeology also a minor in Geography specializing in Geospatial analysis and Urban studies (planning etc. urban sprawls)

Naomie Hannah Margaret White

She will be representing a Filipino community in Sydney Australia but will also be working with Novaliches,Quezon City for her advocacy production as her mothers’s family roots are from there.

Her advocacy is to impart my knowledge through her course of study in fashion and textiles in Sydney.

"I will be doing this through the educating of everyone , mostly the young on the environmental effect of the fashion industry globally. This will be carried out through the introduction of innovation of projects such as natural dying of fabrics with things such as fruit, learning how to upcycle our products and also source organic fabrics. This will hopefully seed an innovative mind into our young and innovate them to change the world for future generations to come".

CELESTE SILVIA CORTESI is the newly crowned Miss Philippines Earth Italy 2018.
Fil- Italian Celeste will represent the Filipino Community of Italy in the upcoming Miss Philippines Earth 2018.

Her advocacy is "Ecopreneurship"

Eco-preneurship means we find environmental solutions to the many issues we have by empowering our people through entrepreneurship.
Basically, creating businesses that would help the environment and solve actual problems.
For example: @metalstrawph is a business that sells metal straws to reduce the use of plastic straws


And her career is: host for 10years, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur with her own business for talent and events management and event branding and marketing called "ZS Professional Hosts and Events Specialists".

She will represent Taguig City for this year Miss Philippines Earth 2018

She is 2nd year college in Taguig City University taking up B.S in Nursing

Her advocay is to promulgate a Green City living with the use of urban farms and green technology combining modernization and nature together. She believe that this is one of the steps we have to take in order to recreate a place where people, technology and the environment can co-exist harmoniously in an urban setting. @ Taguig
