I joined this form because I need some help and also because I love pageants. Not that I've been in one and I hope that doesn't knock me out of this forum. Can anyone tell me in the New York area or New Jersey area for that matter where I can find a reputable seamstress with a gown that I bought? I read reviews on Yelp and Google The Good The Bad and The Ugly .How do you girls do it? I know you have pageant coaches so that does help. But this I do not have I have to attend a very important function. And I really I'm afraid to trust anyone because I have had bad experiences in the past mostly good but some bad and when you spend a lot of money on a dress well I don't have to tell you. I need someone who's experienced in pageant or prom whatever you call it alterations. Lots of sequins and a huge train which I do not need. If you need photos or what type of dress who made it I can provide that. But if you're not involved in a pageant or no people that are it's very difficult to find someone who knows what they're doing. I did find a pageant form at one point you mentioned a cleaners that they went to but I did hear 1 mixed review which made me anxious. And I know usually you wouldn't go to a cleaner but this is what a pageant form had mentioned this particular place. Any help and I would be eternally grateful. If not I look forward to watching all of you and rooting for you. Thank you for your time in advance

You mean u need a designer or someone who make gowns? I've known someone from US but I need to confirm from what state he is. I have a friend from Arizona too and I've known a Filipino desginer in New York ,Veejay Floresca.
