You are confused, Miss Universe 1981 is Irene Saez from Venezuela, and she was the one who was running for president of Venezuela. Puerto Rico does not has a president is a governor...The only MU in from Puerto Rico in the 80's is Deborah Carthy-Deu in 1985.

I did not find Barbara when she won pretty at all , but nowadays she looks gorgeous!!!
