OFFICIAL ANNOUCEMENT: PUERTO RICO will host MISS WORLD 2020 on December 2021

Sri Lanka to Host Miss World Soon?
Key officials of the Miss World Organization including the Reigning Miss World arrived in Sri Lanka on Sunday 30th September on an exploration visit of the island.
The high profile delegation is looking at the possibility of selecting Sri Lanka as the host nation for the world renowned pageant in 2020 or 2021.
The delegation paid a courtesy call on Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga at his Ministry office.
Minister Amaratunga made presentations to the Chairperson of the Miss World Organisation Julia Evelyn Morley and reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar as well as Miss World 2016 and Miss World Brand Ambassador, Stephanie Marie Del Valle Diaz.
Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau Dehan Seneviratne was also present on the occasion.

CONFIRMED: Miss World 2019 is happening in Thailand!
Today (17 Jan 2019 at 14:30pm) The governor of Chonburi Province Mr Pakarathorn Thienchai welcomes Madam Julia Morley and the Miss World org to host Miss World 2019 beauty pageant in The City Hall, Pattaya. Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce De Leon from Mexico will crown her successor in November 2019. According to Prpattaya media, it has been confirmed that Thailand will be the host country for Miss World 2019 beauty pageant where over 130+ countries delegates will compete to win the prestigious blue crown of Miss World. According to the governor of Chonburi Mr Thienchai says he will like to welcome everyone to Thailand and the delegates of Miss World 2019 pageant to witness the warm hospitality of Thai people. And he further encourages more tourist to come travel to the beautiful Pattaya City.

Thailand confirmed as hosts for this year’s 69th Miss World Final
The Miss World Organisation (MWO) has today confirmed that the 69th Miss World Final will be hosted in Thailand. Full details will be released at the official press conference to be held in Bangkok on Monday, 18th February.

According to an article at globalbeauties, Miss World will be held in London this year. Contestants arrive on November 20th and the winner will be crowned on Saturday, December 14th. Miss World 2020 will be held in Thailand the article went on to say.

Chairman and CEO, Julia Morley and reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León live on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan to announce that Miss World 2019 is coming to London. You can watch it all here.

Julia Morley, Chairman and CEO, has today announced live with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain exciting plans to bring 130 incredible women from all over the world to London for a three-week festival and the Miss World Final. Contestants will arrive in London on 20 November with the grand finale taking place on Saturday 14 December at ExCeL London.
The opening ceremony will be held in London, each contestant will then compete in a series of fast track events that guarantee a place in the top 30. These include Multimedia, Sport, Talent, Top model, Head to Head Challenge and Beauty With A Purpose projects from every contestant, taking them on a journey across some of the London’s most iconic landmarks taking in its rich culture and heritage.
Julia said: “London is the greatest city in the world to visit. It’s where Miss World started in 1951 as part of the Festival of Britain celebrations and this year, we are going to put on the best show ever.
Our Miss World Festival will be held in Thailand in 2020 to celebrate our 70th year. Thailand will be working very closely in London with us to share the London experience. Full details of our 2020 celebrations will be announced shortly.

Puerto Rico will host MISS WORLD 2020 on December 16th, 2021, this will be the 1st time that this pageant will be held in a Latin American country.
Contestants will be arriving on November 17th, 2021.
