True. Same old same old. Mexico's last top 5 placement was back in 2010, so I'm ok with her. The other ones either made the top 5 in 2018 or 2017. Considering there were other great girls in the top 10 and top 20, it would have been refreshing to see new countries in the top 5.

You don't have a choice in the Top 3.

I go for Mexico.. I didn't see her placing too high! Lupita is probably happy at the moment

Considering Telemundo is back, I think they'll go for a latina. The last latina titleholder was in 2014 so they probably think it's long overdue for another one. South Africa really nailed the final answer.

what a boring show, way too much talking and speech giving. Where is the glamour? Swimsuits and evening gowns were barely there. And I thought there were much more deserving girls. I was more interested in Iceland, Peru, and France. USA should not have made the top 20. Boring. Congratulations to South Africa though. She has a very striking look.

It is sad that Miss Universe is going the route of the Miss America pageant and becoming more like a televised job interview.

The presenter was horrible... at least for me that I am not watching American TV! He was rude at times, make up was bad... really bad, the top 2 Latinas were a joke... They should choose Colombia at least! Thailand was trying so hard to be Catriona , she paid the price!

totally agree, Steve Harvey was terrible. Most people here seem to like him. He is the host of the game show, Family Feud. I have never thought he was funny. I miss the days of Billy Bush and Daisy Fuentes. The show is such a boring chore to get through now. The judging panel is now a "selection committee" and it is no longer a pageant, but a competition. Barf.
