Athaliah would have been an even worse choice than Jenelle.....the fact that this franchise could not find one real contender to compete is ridiculous.

Trinidad has way more to offer than what this org scrambled last minute to put forward as a representative. It would have been better not to send a rep than send one that is physically not prepared. Like ANN said they can enter meaning the plus size and the married and the mothers and the older ladies but they won`t win

Lol! Got what you are saying but I think Athaliah would have been more embarrassing than entertaining. At least Jenelle is a classy lady and understands there is a time and place for everything.

MU already showed last year they were body inclusive with Nepal's placement. I don't see the need for Jenelle to be in top 30 just for wokeness.

The woke spots are already guaranteed for Somalia and Egypt.  South Africa who is deaf, can make top 30 on merit. 

Given there is a top 30 this year, I hope countries that we don't/rarely see in previous finals actually place this year - Turks and Caicos, Finland and China are those that come to mind. 

Chile & Venezuela are really strong this year, Philippines would be the pageant politics pick for a win but I still currently like Spain the most. Estonia and Denmark winning would be great (they have 2 of the best faces in this year's pageant). France is also a solid choice for top 12.

Love this outfit! At least C&S got the styling right!

I am so over this ....C&S needs to scout Amanda Ameerali from now and start the prep. She can at least put us back in the semis if properly prepped. Her body from the pageant 2 years agon would have been on par with the best top 20 at MU this year.

Yes, definitely MU beauty standard, but Dania needs to prep for interviews like nobody's business. She needs a full year to train. 


That being said...this just goes to show that even with the lack of interest of both the current fanchise holders of MU and MW, in selecting global beauties and training them to be global competitors each year, we still know Dania D., Amanda A. and the current Top Model TT 2024 - any of these 3 if properly prepped can give us a real chance at placing in the top 20/30 of MU...and they, irrespective of placement, would be exciting to follow at MU. I hope after this  year's competition, Jenelle returns to TT  and immediately begins prepping at least one of these 3 for MUTT 2025, especially when it comes to Interview. This  is the only sliver lining with Jenelle...she is one of the best speakers we have had at MU in ages...and could be an asset as a trainer of our MU and MS reps.

If pageant politics were not in play Spain, Denmark, Slovakia, Russia and to a lesser extent Estonia along with a few others could win, while Philippines could possibly miss the top 12 (there are way better looking ladies than her who also speak well). 

However, we live in the real world. Pageant Politics are definitely at play. Every pageant wants Philippines to do well because the Filippino fans will actually promote and support any one of their reps that wins for the entire year thus keeping the pageant brand name out there on the internet for the entire year. As such, I am expecting Phillipines to make at least top 12. It is what it is.

Additionally, with Mexico as the host, expect there to also be a heavy interest in a Latina winning. 

Honestly, the latinas and Europeans are the strongest this year and I would not mind if most of the top 30 spots goes to these two regions along with Thailand (who thus far appears to be the most impressive from Asia) and Zimbabwe. I am hoping countries without sash factor like  Turks and Caicos, Finland, China and possibly Bahamas place this year.

France I think should be a solid choice for top 12....and if there has to be an upset, I am hoping Spain or Denmark wins! Russia is super gorgeous but she looks so young...but again another excellent choice of MU...let's see what happens at prelims.

There are are at least 36 ladies who stand out and Jenelle is not one of them.

The prelims will tell us who are the most real contenders.


Thus far pre-prelims, the ladies I hope make the final 12 are Zimbabwe, France, Denmark, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Slovakia, Russia, Venezuela, Peru, Germany and Dominican Republic.

My current faves for the win are Spain (top choice), Denmark, Slovakia, Russia and Venezuela.

Waiting for prelims tomorrow...Phillipines' spot in the final 12 is already on lock

Waiting to see Belarus, Thailand, Slovakia , Germany, Denmark , France , Spain , Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Russia, Estonia, DR,PR...from the English speaking Caribbean T&C and to a lesser extent Jamaica and Bahamas.
