I agree Trinisoca, I don't find her interview appealing at all. But a number of non-Filipino fans like it and I don't know why.
Yes, I've heard about that, that Bianca was instructed not to walk like a "ramp model" but to walk as a (80s) "beauty queen" but it's really up to her. I can see her making an effort and I'm proud of her.
Let's see her during the prelims.

I'm not losing hope...but am not expecting much either. Im just here to support her as a FILIPINO.

All Miss Universe 2009 contestants visited The Balmoral Club in the Welcome Event in Nassau, Bahamas. This was the first formal Event the candidates attended since their arrival in The Bahamas.

The event was attended by Hon Minister of Tourism and Aviation, Senator Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace and Jason Kinsale, The Balmoral's principal. The girls were welcomed by Ms. Paula M. Shugart, President of the Miss Universe Organization and Miss Universe 2009 Dayana Mendoza.

[size=150]Yup. We had a meet up especially for him and he joined other meet ups twice. We'll have another one on Aug. 23 and will spillover until aug 24 to watch Miss Universe with all the usual M_______s. Btw, we had the chance to see Bianca in person through Pawee. We were allowed to chat and have pics with her during her private send off. It was really a thrilling experience! She's kind, accommodating and beautiful in person.[/size]

HONESTLY, A GOOD FRIEND WILL ALLOWS TELL YOU THE TRUTH. THIS YEARS CONTEST IS VERY COMPETITIVE, IF SHE IS TO MAKE THE TOP 15 SHE WILL HAVE TO WORK ON THAT INTERVIEW. IF SHE IS NOT VERY GOOD IN ENGLISH. SHE NEED TO ASK FOR AN INTERPRETER TO HELP HER.
SHE IS LOOKING FRESH THAT IS THE GREAT THING. YOU RAISE THE POINT OF THE CATWALK. IF SHE DONT GET THAT CATWALK TOGETHER SHE CAN KISS THE TITLE GOOD BYE. SHE SEEM POSITIVE SO I AM HOPING FOR THE BEST.

I really don't understand why Filipinas are forced to speak English when quite a number of them are not really that good at it. Seldom do we crown a Teresa Licaros or Nina Ricci Alagao. I mean yes, English is widely spoken here in the Philippines but it's still not our primary language. I mean speaking Niponggo didn't stop Riyo from winning the crown, right?
