STAR HELLAS 2009-The Director Just Mailed Us!!!

there is a high possibility the Star Hellas Pageant will be postponed and it ll take place in the summer if not SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!!
THE TV STATION THAT HOLDS THE RIGHTS AND ITS THE MAIN SPONSOR DUE TO ITS DECISION TO RECONSTRUCT ITS PROGRAMM IS RUMORED THAT HAS DECIDED TO PUSH THE PAGEANT LATER ON ITS SCHEDULE.....WHICH CAN MEAN EARLY JUNE.....OR EARLY SEPTEMBER AS THE MIDDLE PERIOD IS A DEAD TV SEASON DUE TO THE SUMMER. WHAT SOME JOURNALISTS HAVE BEEN WONDERING TODAY WAS WEATHER -IF FINALLY THE PAGEANT TAKES PLACE-THE GIRLS WILL BE UP TO THE DEAD LINES FOR THE INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS AND IF NOT WHATS THE POINT OF THE PAGEANT.

Then maybe Greece will be out from MU 2009? If this happens it's sad because I love greek beauties.

it may become a reality Belle, if the date is somewhere in Seprember!!!.....it will be the first time in decates Greece skipping the pageant....

The last time who Greece was out of Miss Universe was in 1988.

Is a chance - if the finals will be held at september - to pick some of the last year´s finalists for competing on Miss Universe 2009?

i emailed the director on behalf of the forum and ill be waiting for his answer. we have been exchanging mail in the past so i hope he answers. if not....then its truly bad ....as he is always polite to at least answer back.

betty might be a thought...she is a pageant Veteran.....4 pageants in 3 years or something like that.....it will all come down to what the final date will be and to who will be interested to-as greek say- "get the snake out of the lair"......

yeah she has the experience...i dont know if she has the motive anymore.....her modelling carrier is blossoming and maybe she feels the pageant era is over......but it will be a great rescue solution got to admit!....

I VE TALKED WITH SOME GUYS THROUGH THE GREEK FORUM AND IT SEEMS THAT THE NUM 1 SCENARIO IS THE NATIONAL DIRECTOR WILL APOINT THE REPRESENTATION FOR MU TO A GIRL OF HIS OWN CHOICE IF NOTHING CHANGES.
