Miss World Panama 2022 crowned

Kathleen Pérez Coffre to represent Panama at the 71st Miss World Final

22-year-old Kathleen Pérez Coffre was crowned Miss World Panama 2022 at the national final held on 24th April at Teatro Balboa. 19 contestants, representing every province in Panama competed for the coveted title and chance to succeed Krysthelle Barretto as the country’s representative to Miss World.

First runner-up was Diana Martínez, Miss Penonomé and second runner-up was Angie Paz, Miss Darién respectively.
Kathleen is a respiratory therapy student from the province of Bocas del Toro. She is also a volunteer for Yo Pinto Una Sonrisa, a Foundation that supports families in remote areas of the country which have limited access and resources. To date they have served over 20,000 people.
Kathleen said: “It fills me with pride to be the first Bocatoreña to have that distinction, but I understand that today I am no longer Miss Bocas del Toro and now I am Miss Panama. To all my countrymen I promise a total dedication to represent them as they deserve. Today I declare myself a happy woman for this success and I open the doors for more satisfaction and to receive all your support.”
Kathleen will represent Panama at the 71st Miss World Final, where reigning Miss World, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor.[/size]
