When we look at the history of the Miss Supranational pageant in previous years, all the winning countries of Miss Elegance and other special award competitions were in the top 24 in the Miss Supranational Final.  Turkey won the Miss Elegance Contest in Miss Supranational in 2022, but they could not be among the first 24 women in the Final.  To be honest, a double standard has been applied here for Turkey. We can never ignore this Crying or Very sad Rolling Eyes  These decisions of the jury should be questioned. The Turkish candidate expressed her sadness after the competition and expressed that she tried her best in the competition, but declared that the decision of the jury was not fair.  Many followers in Turkey said that discussions about whether to participate in the Miss Supranational pageant next year will have to be open.   Many Turkish social media followers demanded a decision not to participate in the contest next year on the Miss Turkey page.

I never realized she did not make the cut. Maybe the evening gown ruined her chances?

If you look at the past history of the contest, all the countries that won the miss elegance contest were in the top 24.  In 2022, almost all countries in the special award category took place in the first 24, also Turkey wins the Miss Elegance contest, this contest has the largest share among the special awards.  The jury should have taken this into account, it was a great injustice, at least Turkey had the right to be in the top 24 and they got this right from Turkey.   Many social media users in Turkey said on Instagram that Turkey should be open to debate about whether or not to participate in the Miss Supranational contest next year.

I understand your point as well, if the award is a sure placement in the semis, why she didn't.

I'm also sad not to see Czech Republic in the Top 5

Social media also garnered a great reaction in Turkey.There are many people who say it's not a good idea for Miss Turkey to enter the Miss Supranational pageant next year.  First of all, long-standing failures and finally, Turkey, which could not enter the top 24 despite winning the Miss Elegance contest this year, may not participate in the Miss Supranational contest next year.  For many years, Turkey has failed to show any success in competitions such as Miss University and Miss World.   Between 2014 and 2022, Turkey could not even enter the TOP 24-TOP20 in Miss World, Miss Universal, Miss Supranational.
