This photo was published on 13th July, six days before the final night. Miss Japan, Kyoko Otani, curious to see how she would look as a blonde, is shown as she appears ina blond wig (top). At bottom, Miss Japan appears as her natural, brunette self. She is in Long Beach, California, to compete in the annual Miss Universe 1957 beauty pageants.
