Miss Peru, Gladys Zender (left) and Miss Virginia, Patricia Bush (right), look over their rivals during rehearsals in the international Miss Universe 1957 beauty contest at Long Beach. Finalists will be chosen Friday night. Semifinalists were selected last night.
