This photo was published on 14th July, eleven days before the final night. Miss Poland Alicja Bobrowska (wrong name in the photo), has a smile for cameras as she departs from La Guardia Airport, New York for Boston via American Airlines. After a short visit to New England, Alicja will fly to the coast to compete in the Miss Universe 1958 contest at Long Beach, California.
