I have 2 friends close to the MUO and I can tell you guys, the MUO's eyes at this moment in the competition goes to Europe, Asia and Africa. I'm so exciting that the new Miss Universe could be from this continents. 


Meet the contestants in person is widely different than watching them in pics. For me some girls went down and others bubbled up because their presence and beauty. Also their behavior add points to them. Some contestants are closely to press and fans and some others are a little bit shy or divas almost falling into an unfavorable behavior.

Already there are some countries which are the front runners but it's too early to quote them. My friends told me there are 10 girls from Europe, 7 from Africa, 9 from Asia and 10 from America wich catched the eye of MUO because their beauty, presence, perform, manage of their social media and treat to press and fans. Also they are thoroughly judging their projects and philantropic work.


Not all the fans favorites will place in the final top30, but we need to wait for the preli and the performance of all the girls in the course of the concentration. Some fans and press we noticed that some girls are acting or even they are over acting in order to catch the attention and add points to the ponderation of their score.


The are many assumptions we take as a rule because of the sash's weight, but trust me, this year it could change and many doors will open for new countries if they deserved.

We would all be delighted to see new countries place! I feel the "sash factor" already started weakening last year with Paula Shugart's upcoming departure: we saw countries place for the first time ever, others that placed after a long absence from the semis despite their efforts, and a new winner, so the MUO has probably realized they must continue on the same path for the contest to stay relevant worldwide and not just in a dozen countries. It was already a good move IMO to increase the number of semifinalists to 30 to allow for more diversity, so if it's true that the MUO is eying 10 Europeans and 7 Africans, the shake-up we have been waiting for for years now is finally upon us! Who are the ones you are personally predicting to do well @Coeurdeange?

Denmark since the beggining came with so much attitude and spice, dynamism and she always is close to Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Puerto Rico which are the strongest latinas among the fans. She is so lovely and charismatic with all the people at the hotel. She didn't came to play. She arrived to Mexico in order to take all the cake. I hope her performance in the preliminaries shall be outstanding
