This photo was published on 4^th October 1958, nine days before the final night. Miss Marilyn Anne Keddie was chosen Miss Maple Leaf 1959 and will represent Canada in the Miss World 1958 pageant. Miss Canada is 22 years old from Flin Flon, Manitoba and is a secretary.
 
The contest begins on Sunday with luncheon and tours. After that it will be a steady round of dinners, receptions, dances, shows and travel. After the contest, Miss Keddie will spend 14 days in Paris as part of her prize for winning the Canadian title.
