Now that Miss USA is over, the pageant world focuses on Miss Universe. There are a few questions that remain unanswered. 1. Will the Bahamas place for the first time ever, because they are the host country? 2. Can Venezuela pull of consecutive winners? 3. Will USA make it? 4. Will there be a first time winner? 5. Will Colombia end it's long drought and put all those 1st runner-ups to rest?

My thoughts

1. Yes but not just because of that.....they are more prepared and they have 2 girls that can make it on their own.But it will help.

2.Possible but i dont see it happening. I dont think Stefania has the publicity and the coverage Dayana and Ly had in the previous years. We hardly see something professional from her. the question is: do the organizers care for a second win? my guess is no.

3.Yes.......she will. Tv ratings.......Prestige.......and all the fuss with Miss California will work in her benefit.

4.Im not sure.....till this moment my instict says noone beats Mayra Matos and Ada(if she wins DR)

5.No

So many unanswered questions on the table, I guess we'll have to wait for the answers next August.... Smile

My opinion:
1. Yes
2. No, not for 2009.
3. Yes, at least top 10 (but I think she is just plain horrible considering the slate of competitors the judges had to choose from; if it was a fair competition I don't think she would make top 15 at all-she has nothing interesting nor exceptional about her, well, apart from the fact her sash says USA).
4. Unlikely
5. NOT THIS YEAR AT ALL.

I will just be relieved if we get a non-latin winner for 2009.

A European or Caribean should win sunny

My opinion:
1. Yes not just because they are the host country.
2. Definetly NO.
3. Yes, maybe she can reach the top 5.
4. I don´t think so
5. Definetly NO.
