Overview of the evening
For the first time since 1946, "vote" to serve something during the election of Miss France. In effect, the public will designate one of its new beauty queen at the 2010 ceremony held Saturday in Nice and broadcast live on TF1.
Until now, the public must deal with a panel of celebrities, during a vote that resulted in regular protests. The weighting of votes of viewers was justified by the desire to "limit the risk of a massive vote of regionalism."
