Interesting..

Miss Sweden Dani Karlsson today writes that she thinks that the Miss World final could have been held already the first week in China, that politics and money decided the winner even before the pageant had started. "We all knew from the start who would win, contestants spoke about how Miss USA was treated better" she writes. She tells that viewers couldnt see what happened on stage and after the show... she says that the contestants and the audience booed Miss USA and Miss Botswana and cheered Miss venezuela, Miss Venezuela!!. She writes that almost no one of the contestants congratulated Miss USA afterwards but just went to the afterparty. She tells that Miss Venezuela was treated by the other contestants as the winner...

She's not bashing the winner but the MW Organisation and I think there must be something in it. How to explain those instantly made decisions about TOP 7 out of TOP 25 and then - winners?

Booing and not congratulating the winner is not bashing the org but the girl. C'mon, she's an 18 years old high school gratuate, why can't people be happy for her? Her tears were so real, maybe also because of all this shit Miss Sweden is talking about... Envy will alsways be part of those events.

I think the same, Botswana was the star of the finale and I don't understand why girls treat Venezuela as the winner. For me she was the worst from the top 7. Suspect

It is difficult to say how much is adequate choice of the winner, but I was just curious, for example my husband was never interested in beauty contests, but at my request, and to my surprise it turned out that, he chose namely an Miss USA from the top 7, said the most best and beautiful Miss USA. That's why the jury chose her....

I‘m so disappointed about the pageant, especially disappointed with Julia Morley. So many mistakes during the pageant, they just didn't care. The final not boring but horrible and the winner gave me a very great shock. I give up and I don't want Miss World pageant back to China ever, we deserve better!

Today was interview with Miss Slovakia , she told that Miss USA wasnt her favourite at all. She thought that new Miss world will be Russia , Ireland or India. There was also question "which girl from TOP3 she like the most" and Marina said "ONLY girl which I like from TO3 is Venezuela." Same as Miss Sweden said. (it looks like Venezuela was popular among girls, or at least these 2 girls, btw I realy dont know why they dont like Botswana)

Well, I was thinking about it the last couple days and I have to say the time when I star to like the new Miss World is still not coming....

I am very happy for all USA friends here, but I think they must admit that their beautiful country is able to offer more...

This is what I found on Critical Beauty and I share the opinion:
"I saw the delayed telecast of the pageant via E! Channel and just like in the past five or six years, the production was a veritable schnoozefest, not to mention that the pageant - which took place in Sanya for the fifth time since 2003 - lacked any sense of true competition during the televised show. It is already an established fact among pageant fans that MWO executive director Julia Morley, who also presides in the judging panel, is the one who decides on the winner. Mills was not on most of everyone's favorite list. In my Facebook, I commented that Mills won for any of these reasons: first, Morley wants to heavily promote Miss World in the U.S. Second, Morley must have already found a good U.S. group or individual who will produce a national pageant and that they will use Mills to further promote Miss World in the U.S. The U.S. franchise has changed hands many times, and Morley is desperate to find the right entity to be able to promote her pageant in the U.S. market. Or third, Morley simple fell in love with Mills even though this girl did not have a defined "Beauty With A Purpose" project. It is still a mystery as to how Mills was selected to be the U.S. representative. No one knows who sent her. We know that she's a signed model with Elite/Miami, but this does not prove that Elite/Miami is the U.S. franchise holder. Mills was also not crowned nationally - so this betrays the notion that Morley only prefers to crown a woman who was actually crowned in a national pageant. With Mills as the new American beauty royalty, the U.S. media will swarm to her like flies and pay lesser attention - or even abandon - the current Miss USA Rima Fakih who did not even place in Miss Universe."

What aslo come in my mind is that Morley wants to be the next USA president and this is one of the preparation how to beat Donald Trump in the White House battle

Now seriously: I only hope that Julia will be able to hand over control of the Miss World Pageant to someone else soon or we will see many many bizzare winners for the next years.

I remember that Miss Poland after a few days when she was in China, also wrote on her blog that her favorite one is Venezuela. I do not know what they saw in her? She must have a great personality... -105--

Sure, thats why I said nothing bad about her crowning moment ! And when someone says that real miss world is another girl it doesnt mean that they want to blaming new miss. They just dont like her . Everyone is availaible to tell own opinion.
