She finally made it: Valeria Bysritskaia (Miss UNiverse Germany 2009 1st ru) has been crowned Miss Universe Germany 2011! She will now represent Germany at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant this September in Brazil. Valeria is 25 years old and stands 176cm.

Some trivia:

Valeria was born and raised in Russia. At the age of 7 she moved with her parents - her mother is of Ukrainian origin, her father is (Italy, this one's for you!!!) ITALIAN lol! to Germany. She has the German nationality and speaks - more or less fluently - 5 languages: German, English, Russian, Italian, French.

So we have 1,5 contestants from Ukraine and so far 1,5 from Italy competing in Miss Universe 2011!!!

Maybe the parents are not married... Many children have their mother's name.
