Road to Miss Universe Canada 2012!! - Final Night

Miss Universe Canada 2012 will most likely be crowned in Spring 2012, but for now, 35 contestants are competing in the GTA premilinary which is scheduled for December and only 12 out of these 35 ladies will move on to the final of MUC. Yes, as long as they have their Canadian citizenship, they can compete at MUC.

The GTA preliminaries were held yesterday in Toronto. 12 lucky ladies were selected and will advance to the final of MUC, to be held sometime in June 2012. Here are the lucky 12 contestants:

Most likely..and thats a shame. Hopefully, this year will prove me wrong, but yeah, I highly doubt it, unless Elishia Sahota or Ashley Callingbull outshine everybody else and blow the judges and Denis Davila away, but other than that, I think the winner will again be from GTA.

As for Ashley, I've read a few times that she will be entering Miss World Canada this year, so hopefully, we'll see her gracing the Miss World stage.

As for this lineup of contestants, it is definitely not the best, but there are some very pretty girls and some girls returning as well such as Alyson Lozoff who was 4th runner-up to Nathalie Glebova in 2005, Sahar Biniaz who was 1st runner up to Samantha Tajik in 2008, and also Katie Starke (top 12 in 2010) and Adwoa Yamoah (top12 as well but can't remember the year). Here are some of my favorites so far:

NO, these were only the 12 winners of the Greater Toronto Area-casting. THese 12 also compete in Canada Universe.
