I regret to inform you all that Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Universe 1993, Dayanara Torres Delgado, has been diagnosed with a skin cancer (melanoma) at the age of 44 as announced on her social media.

She assures us that she is okay and that pieces have been taken from behind her knee and other areas where it spread, she had noticed a birthmark that she hadn't seen before but didn't pay much attention to it. This is unfortunately why skin cancer is detected in the moments it does, its one of the most silent forms of cancer.

Puerto Rico is sending her all the good energy in the world for we are devastated at this news and I hope you guys will understand and respect this thread, for this is a real person going through the impossible.
