Juliana Palermo tried many times to join Bb Pilipinas but always been rejected since she was a porn star...

You guys are mixing up so many things and its getting ridiculous. How is allowing transexual related to a porn star. There is some kind of moral rules in MU and yes, I don't think that being a pornstar is the best "job" anyone can get. As for being a transexual, why would that be considered immoral? If the person had gender identity disorder and got it fixed, what is wrong with that? Why all the bashing

Im not bashing Jenna, and this is not about discrimination im not against with transexual..im also a gay like Jenna who is trapped in a mens body but i know how to put myself and know my limitations... yes she is a woman in your country and according to Canada law.. but in the Philippines transexual still consider as gay and not a real girl...

We Filipino all pageant fanatic cant accept this since we are in country were pageants is now a tradition.

And pageants here was separated in different categories

For Female Born natural girl, Male, For gay guy (masculine), for gays (feminine) including transexual..

So Transexual here cant and never will consider to join in Bb Pilipinas and other prestigious beauty pageants exclusively for female who was born natural girl.


This is alarming because if Jenna will be accepted in Miss Universe then other transgender in different countries will also claim equality and rights to join in National Pageants for Miss Universe...

In the future Miss Universe will now a pageant for transgender ... and the pageant will never be the same

...for the Porn Star issue... (I know how to be a transexual, to be a ladyboy, i know what is the lifestyle) so if they will accept ladyboy why not those porn star???

I don't see why this is alarming to you. I think there is also a lot of hyprocrisy about equality and rights..it only seems to be okay in some situations, but in others, its not. Jenna is allowed to compete because her birth certificate, drivers' license and passport says she is a female...so, there is no trace of male whatsover. Not all countries recognize this and would allow for the birth certificate to be changed, so no, transgenders will not invade the universe...you can sit back and enjoy the pageant. A porn star gets paid to have sex on videocamera, while a transgender has nothing to do with that...although, there are probably transgender pornstars, but the simple fact of being a transgender has no relation to being a pornstar or a prostitute or a thief, or anything that could be considered as "immoral".

Question of discrimination doesn't arises it's clearly stated in MUO rules that only naturally born female can participate in the competition unfortunetley Jenna is not a female by birth if she had some common sense she/he wouldn't fill any form for it
