Tara Teng, 23, from Vancouver, BC has just been crowned as the new Miss World Canada 2012 and will travel to Inner Mongolia, China, to compete in Miss World 2012. The first runner up was Lisa Deane and the second runner up was Tanya Halata.

I am extremely disappointed with the results. MWC organization had a few stunning candidates, such as Ashley Callingbull and Poonam Punni, that could have done extremely well in MW 2012, but the organization wasted them. Both of them made the top 10 only. Poonam Punni, who was last year's first runner up and MWC 2010's second runner up definitely should have made the top5 as well as Ashley Callingbull. Once again, the organization fucked it up and chose a cute girl that will probably not doing anything in the pageant. Also, I watched a bit of the pageant since it was live streamed and it was very very unorganized. It looked really amateurish! Hopefully the organization will learn from its mistakes.

I guess she is! She seems a lovely person but I am not impressed by her looks!

You're not the only one. She is f**king plain and the pageant was a real joke. I really hope a team of professional people will take over the Miss World franchise in Canada.

I dont care how many children she carries around on her pictures or how many homeless people she talks too, she is just fucking plain. She has no business in pageantry and if she had not been friends with some of the judges, I highly doubt she would have won. I hope she claps real hard in MW.

I am going to be bad now...really bad... up to Alexis level!!! I don't like commenting people like that but she really made me mad with these pics using children and an old homeless woman, I guess she is trying to say : I am such a charitable person !
First of all:why are the children's clothes dirty????
She is going to wash them? Is that her beauty with a purpose project....doing the laundry ?[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
As for the homeless lady she could offer her something usefull instead of using her for a pic, that made me really mad!!!
