Brazil is the tentative host for Miss Universe 2014 according to Trinidad and Tobago Express newspaper interview with Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2014!

Additionally another article done just prior to the Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2014 pageant in another local newspaper stated Brazil was the host...I thought it was erroneous but now, not so much.

I think this just means that MUorg has not ironed our the final details hence the lack of an official announcement...so if it does not work out with Brazil expect USA to host again. I have no problem with USA being the host but I hope it's Hawaii or Baton Rouge this time around.

According to my sources there will be an announcement soon on the Today Show, but I won't mind, it will be very interesting! Although I do agree Rolene is better suited for MW, I think there are other great girls in that batch this year and I won't mind the 3 pageants, it will be a very exciting (but tiring) December!

I wish Miss USA and Miss Universe would go back to having Miss USA in the spring and Miss Universe during summer (and they would announce where Miss Universe would be held during the Miss USA telecast). With its dubious winners and questionable semi-finalists I have lost lots of interest in Miss Universe. I realize it is a business and a money maker for Trump, but it just seems....less classy....than it used to be. I actually find myself enjoying following Miss World more than Miss Universe.

I doubt this is true, from a reliable source, it will be in December somewhere in the USA, it was made up by some Venezuelan who was the same one that said that MU would be held at 5 in the morning Russia time last year. Trump isn't that dumb.
