Miss Trinidad and Tobago with her EG designer, Bobby Ackbarali. Bobby was responsible for Valene's final evening gown last year and for the "Hands of hope" EG that Valene competed in for the "Best Dress" award. I can't wait to see what he came up with for Gabby.

Gabby is a top 4 finalist in the "Beauty with a Purpose" fast-track. The winner will be announced during the Dec. 13th final and gains automatic entry into the top 15.

Dec. 13th 2008 (Miss World Finals):Gabrielle Walcott wins the "Beauty with a Purpose" fast-track and becomes the fifth semifinalist at Miss World 2008. This is the first time that Trinidad and Tobago has won this award and also the first fast-track event that a Trinbagonian has won at Miss World, thus far. Congrats to Peter Elias and Associates (MT&TW franchise holders), the Just Because Foundation and Gabby for a splendid job.

Miss World 2008 Finals: Gabby places 2nd in the "Best Dress" award wearing a Bobby Ackbarali design. USA was 1st place with Guatemala in 3rd.
