	On Saturday night when the Česká Miss Earth 2014 crown went to Nikola Buranská, her parents wasn't the only one cheered at the Musical Theatre Karlín, but also her boyfriend Filip Novák. Nikola and Filip had been together for four years and been living together for three years in Liberci where Filip is playing for nearby professional football club, Baumit Jablonec. The curse of being a beauty queen is the abrupt break up between their boyfriends within a year of her reign because of the time apart and schedule so we had to ask them if they feel threatened. "I fear that our relationship will suffer but he is supportive of me and not once did he discourage me while I was in Česká Miss", said the 21 year old student of Metropolitní Univerzity in Prague. 1 APR 2014	PAIN BEFORE PLEASURE
	After enduring six stitches on the foot, Nikola finally has something to be happy about, a crown on her head. It's a miracle that Nikola Buranská can withstand the rigors of the pageant and subsequently win a crown. The Přerov native injured her foot on a sea coral during the training camp in Mauritius early February. Her foot was injured so bad that the doctors at one point recommend numbing injections but fortunately it did not have to come to that. "A week prior to the finals, I ended up in the Hospital Na Bulovce because my foot got inflammation. Fortunately I have time to heal and everything went well," Česká Miss Earth told us. Nikola made a cautious approach to her injury and it paid off. "I was very careful during workouts and my movement and I opted to wear sneakers instead of high heels." Read on
