Actually I don´t think so, his picks were mostly europeans. Unfortunately, many of them ended in a short time after TOP 15 announcement....

My answer to Bonner is:
Yes, they are considered black (more than 90% of it's population are black) and also Latinos, because they speak also one of the Romance Languages that comes from the Latin (Latin was born in Rome and then spread to Spain) wich are (Spanish, French, Portuguese & Italian) even Iris is Latina (but still European) also the Spanish, Italian and Portuguese people.
Us in América are Latin Americans.
Raquel Pelissier was 3rd runner-up in Reina Hispanoamericana 2016.

kidding. We see some new things this year:
Good : European queen finally won and we have new countries in top 13: Kenya for the first time placed (instead of boring South Africa as only African in top 15 year by year) , Haiti also (more than 40 years is same as they never placed).
Also some countries who didnt have placement for long time, placed: Canada and countries as Peru and Panama are also not the countries that we see every year in top 15. Countries as Venezuela and Australia, who are always in top didn't place, for Australia it is a bit unexpected because she is beauty, but Vene.was mature and plastic, same is with Puerto Rico, so nice that they are not in top only because of good catwalk or gown.

bad: USA still placed and it is very undeserving, same is with Indonezia who place year by year with WTF queens, it is just not fair. Only one European in top 15/13..and even 6 Latinas, that is not fair, since that Latinas was not so much better than Euro girls.

strange: Canada have wtf body and she still was in top 9 :O she even passed ss round Shocked

, then we have girls like Peru and Colombia wich body was not well toned as well ...so it seems that criteria for top 15/13 are chainging a bit

However since 2008 I've had an impression that someone try to push forward Europe as half of the semi-finalists were usually from Europe.
