Nellys is coming back home on Wednesday November 13, 2019, and the big party will be in PLAZA LAS AMÉRICAS Shopping Mall at 7:30 PM.
Will be there with my daughter who works there in one of the stores.

This is part of Plaza Las Américas Shopping Mall, a 4 storeys building with over 3 hundred stores, restaurants and movie theater.

My people are hurting since December 28, 2019 due to the constant earthquakes we’ve been experiencing here in Puerto Rico. And even though food, water, and healthcare are a top priority for the bettering of the communities, mental health is also an integral part of our well-being. Yesterday, a group of professionals with psychology and social work students decided to make an impact in Peñuelas. The tent city and Barrio Rucio were our reach, with special activities for children to express their feelings through art and psychological aid for adults. The importance of our work lies within the shock the people are re-living every time the earth beneath them moves. We wanted to be people who helped them vent, talk, and express their thoughts about what happened, the shifts in their lifestyles and their outlooks on the near and far future. This was my first hands-on experience, but it surely won’t be the last. This 100x35 island will not lose its strength.

Tras coronarse como la primera puertorriqueña en obtener el título de Miss Earth, Nellys Pimentel participará del New York Fashion Week, uno de los eventos de moda más prestigioso a nivel mundial.
After being crowned as the first Puerto Rican to obtain the title of Miss Earth, Nellys Pimentel will participate in the New York Fashion Week, one of the most prestigious fashion events worldwide.
“Estoy muy contenta y emocionada de poder participar de este gran evento como lo es New York Fashion Week 2020, ansiosa de pisar la pasarela”, dijo Pimentel quien pasó las navidades en Puerto Rico con su familia.
La beldad vestirá del reconocido diseñador Sergio Hudson, quien ha trabajado para Michelle Obama y otras reconocidas figuras como Demi Lovato y Beyonce. Los desfiles serán hoy, el próximo lunes 10 y jueves 13 de febrero.
Luego de los sismos registrados en la Isla, Nellys ha formalizado un grupo de apoyo para las familias y niños perjudicados llevando suministro y diversión para los más pequeños.
Por otra parte, la organización nacional y sus directores, Joe Ahmed y Vanessa de Roide, están en la búsqueda de la nueva representante para Puerto Rico en el certamen internacional. Las inscripciones cierran el 28 de febrero y son libre de costo.
