Chanique Rabe - Miss Supranational 2021 had the opportunity to meet Hon. Faustina Calley - Deputy Minister of Education Arts & Culture. She had the chance to discuss possible ways to grow her sewing schools with the Deputy Minister and her team. She also paid a courtesy call to the Hon. Agnes Tjongarero - Minister of Sports & Youth.

[b]Chanique Rabe - Miss Supranational 2021 visited the Hope Village Orphanage and Penduka Trust. Hope Village is a place very close to Chani's heart. It is here where she has been presenting sewing classes as one of the elements of her 'From the Ground Up' project. The girls presented their work to the team. "I am so proud of each and every one of you. You created your own designs and you showed your creativity. I am so suprised by the quality of your work," Chani told the girls.

The Penduka Trust helps to empower women and their communities to improve their own lives. Penduka means Wake Up and empowers through employment and education. They focus on sustainability and uses things like magazines, bottles and even bicyle tyres to create art and jewelry.

The #misssupranational team has arrived at the Nambwa Tented Lodge to visit the Sijwa Project where Chanique Rabe - Miss Supranational 2021 #fromthegroundup Junior Sewing School is. (African Monarch Lodges) (Nambwa Tented Lodge)

The team arrived in the Zambezi Region of northeast Namibia on Sunday. Chani’s first school was opened in February 2021 at the Sijwa project by African Monarch Lodges. “We chose Chani not because of her beauty title but because of the authentic person she is. Her heart for people shines through and the skill set that she is transferring to the young people can make a real difference in our Mayuni Conservancy with whom we have a joint venture partnership. It will offer our youth aspirational goals, which we are extremely excited about” explained Tinolla Rodgers, co-owner of African Monarch Lodges.
