Miss World Côte d’Ivoire 2021 crowned!
Olivia Yace was crowned Miss World Côte d’Ivoire at the glistening final held at Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire on 4th September.
23-year-old Olivia is a marketing and management major from Yamoussoukro.
Olivia said: “To all the other candidates that I have had the pleasure of knowing and appreciating, please hold your head up high because you have not been unworthy!”
“To all of the reconciled Ivory Coast, to all of the Africa and all the other countries that have supported me, may God give you graces and blessings for each of your marks of attention, and each of your votes.”
Olivia will represent Côte d’Ivoire at the 70th Miss World Final in Puerto Rico, where reigning Miss World, Toni-Ann Singh will crown her successor on December 16 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot.

Miss World Africa made honorary citizen of the commune of Cocody
Olivia Yace acknowledged for her performance at the 70th Miss World in Puerto Rico
Olivia Yace, second runner-up at the 70th Miss World and reigning Miss World Africa has been granted an honorary citizen of the municipality of Cocody.
Olivia was awarded this honorary title due to her successful performance at the 70th Miss World in Puerto Rico, which boosted Cote d’Ivoire as a destination. The Municipal Council of Cocody organised a huge celebration to mark the occasion. The event was attended by Ambassadors, Politicians, traditional chiefs of Cocody and religious leaders.
Olivia said: “I pledge to carry this torch high and to work for the influence of Cocody my beautiful city.”
Since returning from Miss World in Puerto Rico Olivia has also been received by Dominique Outtara, First Lady of Cote d’Ivoire: “I would like, in the name of my dear husband President Alassane Ouattara and in my own name, to congratulate you and tell you that we are proud of you. Thank you for raising the torch of Côte d'Ivoire.”
Congratulations Olivia from all of us at Miss World on receiving the well-deserved honorary title.
