Miss Universe Seychelles 2022
After 27 years Seychelles will compete in Miss Universe 2022!
The islander nation of Seychelles is set to return to the Miss Universe stage after 27 years.
The first and last time Seychelles competed in Miss Universe was in 1995, when the pageant was held in the city of Windhoek, Namibia and took Maria Payet.

It would be nice to see them back!
In 1995, the island country of Seychelles had its one and only representative to the Miss Universe Pageant. Maria Payet competed in Windhoek Namibia in 1995.

Seychelles is back!
She will represent Seychelles at the 71st Miss Universe competition
Hailing from the exquisite Seychelles Island, specifically the mainland Mahe, Gabriella Gonthier is an International Business degree holder a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer by profession.
Gabriella is a firm believer in the simplest things making a great difference and hence, enjoys advocating, modelling, site seeing, and photography. At 24 years old, Gabriella was recognized nationally and internationally for her achievements in the feilds of Blue Economy, as well as being a top scorer for her university course and a nominated top female model on the African scale.
Enthusiastic to many causes Gabriella does not limit herself to her enegagement with several entities and NGO's such as the Ocean Governance Youth Group, Mental Health Associations & much more. Her drive to engage in these causes are simply based on the principle that "everyone has a purpose and can create impact".
She believes in creating a beautiful life rather than to wait for one and, lives her life to the fullest as every single moment should be cherished; regardless of the situation. Gabriella is a girl with vision and dreams, determined to make them a reality.
