LATVIA IS BACK
This Baltic country debuted at Miss Universe back in 2005 with the spectacular @rubeneieva who made the top 10 on their first try!
Latvia’s participation didn’t last long as the country only competed for 2 years before withdrawing in 2007!
Now, 16 years after their last time on the Miss Universe stage, @missuniverse.latvia is back under the wing of @ingaradugamodels and they’re here to stay!

27-year-old beauty from Riga, Kate Alexeeva is the newly crowned Miss Universe Latvia 2022. She was proclaimed winner last October 12th.
Kate is an international model and influencer. She is multilingual and can speak Latvian, Russian and English. This beautiful blonde is no stranger in pageantry and previously joined Top Model of the World, Miss Grand International and Miss Multiverse. Aside from being a pageant queen, she founded the beauty cosmetics and personal care brand Glambox
It is the first time for Latvia to join the competition in 16 years. Latvia debuted at Miss Universe 2005 where Ieva Kokoreviča represented the country and finished Top 10. Their last participation was in 2006.
