Courtney Tadiwanashe Jongwe, a 22-year-old TV presenter, commercial model and Chemical and Processing Engineering student of the Manicaland State University of Applied Sciences in Zimbabwe, was selected to represent her country in Miss Earth 2023 pageant in Vietnam.

Her advocacy focuses on Climate Action, the 13th Sustainable Development Goal of UN. “I feel much honored to be the new Miss Earth Zimbabwe. I have been afforded with an opportunity to be a force for good with regards to environmental conservation protection .l will definitely use this platform to promote sustainable steps towards climate action - ensuring that everyone is on board for collectively we can be the change we want to see ”, she said.
Courtney succeeds Sakhile Dube, Top 8 finisher of Miss Earth 2022.
