Charlotte Sheffield, 20, chosen Miss U.S.A. in the Miss Universe 1957 when winner Leona Gage was found to be a married woman, confides that she hasn’t made a dime out of her beauty honours and had$1.38 when she reached New York. But Charlotte, with new worlds to conquer, holds a globe as she leaves for London to take part in the Miss World 1957 competition.
