LOL! Aiden, if she looks this good after just arriving (with jet lag and all), imagine how good she will look once she's settled in? I have a good feeling about this girl!

Hey "Glam"....(miss ya gyall???) that is quite true....she is off to a very good start.....however I do hope that she keeps her energy and drive up and delivers each time we see her.....but I had heard that right after she won Miss Bahamas World she was up at 4-5 am the next morning in the gym....training!!!....It seems, to me, that she has incredible drive and she is determined to deliver.....I will be watching her closely!!!

According to my sources, Joanna is 6 feet tall and now weighs 135 pounds! How much more should she have lost without looking sick? The thing is, Joanna has a big frame.... she's got broader shoulders, etc. compared to the rest of these girls. I think she's at a good weight for her height. And yes, she is articulate. The girl is a champion debater.

She needs to maintain a healthy weight for her height......and in my opinion I think if she looses too much more it could hurt her.....As far as projecting herself....Joanna is the only delegate, so far, that has taken pictures with almost 80-85% of the miss world contestants.....She is not reserved....she is taking pictures with the girls left, right and centre.....I'm really, really, impressed with her....not to mention she has made the semifinals for the the talent competition....and was chosen to be showcased in TWO SPECIAL EVENTS SO FAR....WITH ONE BEING TELEVISED AND THE OTHER BEING A FASHION SHOW!!!!!......Trust me SHE IS PROJECTING!!!!!.....I just want her to keep her DRIVE UP!!!!

You need to understand it is not just about the weight. You need to be proportionate. She can tone up her stomach and her legs. She has a nice face. But, when you look at her she looks kind of timid. I am glad to hear she is articulate. I want her to do well. But, we need to be realistic to. These little things can either make you win or make you lose. You need to be polished at these pageants. And possess that all roundedness.

You need to understand it is not just about the weight. You need to be proportionate. She can tone up her stomach and her legs. She has a nice face. But, when you look at her she looks kind of timid. I can assure you that Joanna is NOT timid! I really don't see how you get that from all the pics I've seen of her at Miss World. She appears to be very outgoing. As far as her body, we'll see what she brings at the swimsuit competition. Besides, I remember in 2007 Miss Angola was terribly out of shape, and she made Top 3, and that same year Yendi Phillips made it to Top 5 of Beach Body with a less than perfect figure.

Joanna has been coached and styled for this pageant by one of the world's best (Bobby Ackbarali), the same man who coached Gabrielle Walcott and Valene Maharaj, and many others before them who went on to do well, so I have no doubt she is bringing it. And as for being polished, from her photos I can tell that she is one of the most polished and well styled contestants there! Wait and see.... many of you will be surprised at how well she does.

Hey Kirkland,

I saw that post on Michelle's page, but I think Jamaica did as well or better than Joanna's gift. According to the Miss World website, the Bolt shoes took in $13,000! So either Michelle's figure for Joanna's gift is off, or she was given the wrong information. In any event, I believe Joanna's gift was definitely in the top 3 or 4, because you notice the Miss World website singled it out, saying it was popular with the guests.
