Here another picture of MARIA DEL PILAR MERCADO CORDERO known as MAPITA CORTES. She was born in Puerto Rico in 1939 after the MU Pageant she moved to Mexico becoming an Telenovela and Movie actress in the golden years. Mapita died in Mexico City in 2006. Here with her husband, the chilean singer LUCHO GATICA.
