Tania Bambaci,from Barcellona Pozzo Di Gotto,Messina,Sicily,has been just crowned as the new Miss Mondo Italia by outgoing queen Giada Pezzaioli,5th runner up at last year's Miss World. Tania,finalist at Miss Italia 2010,will now represent Italy at Miss World 2011 in London.

According to offical results by GB and Pageantopolis she was 6th - but it really does'nt matter....
It is a new year and it is now all about TANIA!

Tania's pageantry's journey to Miss Mondo Italia 2011 crown.
In 2008 she got crowned as "Una Ragazza per il Cinema", a popular contest wich uses to crown girls destinated to acting.
In 2010 first becomes "Miss Miluna Sicilia"..
..and then wins the main title of "Miss Sicilia 2010" getting the straight access to Miss Italia 2010 finals.
Arrived in Salsomaggiore,despite recieving very low scores by judges..
Tania,loved by televoting and incredibly supported,managed to make the top 10 placing,eventually,8th.
In January,she joins Italia's Next Top Model Cycle 4,but didn't advance to the finals,stopping in the semifinals.
In March,Tania wins a little international competition called "Miss Regina D'Europa" wich was held in Malta and where she won over many beauties coming from the whole Europe.
In April,she wins the regional competition for Miss Mondo Italia held at "Camera di Commercio" in Messina,becoming an official finalist.
And now,she has become the new Miss Mondo Italia 2011 with the right to represent Italy at Miss World 2011 in London,on November 6th.
I'm happy she won.. Tania comes from my own city,Messina,so right now everyone's happy for her victory

My concern, too, although I like her. She's got an intersting look and she's caught my attention from the 1st moment. She's tall (183cm), has great modelling skills, but maybe she's not really applicable for Miss World. The Top Model contest could be her chance to get semi-final spot...
