14 year-old Samantha Gomez (right) from Angeles, Pampanga reacts with the reigning Supermodel of the World 2010, the Philippines’ pride and joy Danica Flores Magpantay, as the latter congratulates her seconds after Ford Modelling Agency CEO Katie Ford
announced Gomez as this year’s Philippine titleholder of the world’s
most prestigious modelling competition at the culmination of Philippine Fashion Week Fall 2011
(Supermodel WP tilt has always served as the finale of the annual
PFWeek). An incoming Third Year HS student and standing at 5’10″,
Gomez, blessed with strong Northeast Asian looks, bested 7 other
finalists for the title wherein the competition was held at SMX Center,
Mall of Asia Manila
