There are already 87 contestants selected so it's more that record number of contestants in 2006

BTW.. Laura is Venezuelan too... So we had 2 Venezuelan-Portuguesse with the Surname Goncalves competing in Miss Universe again

ACTUALLY IT'S VERY COMMON HERE TOO..!!! JUST THAT WE SPELLED IT AS "GONCALVES" AND YES SHE IS A VENEZUELAN RESIDED IN PORTUGAL FROM 3 YEARS AGO. THE COMMUNITY OF PORTUGUESE PEOPLE IN VENEZUELA IS HUGE!!!!

she's one of my sentimental favorites for this year and I think that she'll be in top 16 because a) Portugal is returning and b) MU takes place in Brazil
